By submitting the application, you agree to the following:

– THE EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT collects personally identifiable information such as names, addresses and email addresses when this is provided voluntarily by you or upon your consent. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances without your explicit informed consent.

– By entering, you retain the copyright and remain the owner of your material and you may also continue to use them in any manner you choose. You agree that images and text you submit may be used in all publications (printed or digital), on websites (of local EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT), in a slideshow and screensaver, and they may be uploaded on social media channels, or in any other media, and may be copied and displayed in any country, provided that you have appropriate attribution as the owner of the licence of copyrights. You are entering this contest at your own risk. You must agree that, regardless of the outcome, you will not challenge the results of the EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT (the “Contest”) or file any claims or suits against them, their affiliates, directors, officers, or employees, arising from the conduct of the Contest. THE EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT could terminate the Contest before its completion without any kind of obligation towards the submitted competitors. In that case, the organiser agrees that it will not use any submitted material for any purpose.

– By entering this Contest, you agree that the organisers may verify the eligibility, ownership and originality of any submission, and that upon request, you shall submit a written copy of any release, license, or permission you have received from a third party granting you the right to use such submission. You understand that in the event your submission is selected as a winning submission and your ownership rights and the originality of your submission cannot be verified to the satisfaction of the EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT, or it is in any other way ineligible, the organisers shall select an alternate winner based on the same Judging Criteria. Organisers assume no liability to third parties for unverified ownership rights claimed by participants.

– Following the announcement of winners, if the EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT determines that a winner has misrepresented, misstated, or mischaracterized his or her submission in any way, or he/she is not the rightful owner of the submission, the submission may be disqualified from the Contest, and any prizes or privileges received by the participant as a result of winning this contest may be rescinded. Any determinations made by EUROPEAN FASHION PASSPORT in withdrawing and disqualifying any submission will be final.

The aim of this European contest is to showcase the talent of young European designers and connect them with the fashion industry of Europe, as well as networking and professional development of young fashion designers and the creation of European platform for young designers. Designers from each European country will participate and present their work (5 to 10 pieces) at the European Fashion Passport by choice of an international judging panel. We choose only one designer from every European country to participate at the European Fashion Passport 2022. Young designers of this European project will have a chance to showcase their collection as a fashion show, make their own look book collection of photos at interesting locations in Sarajevo, and to participate at two fashion workshops.

The most promising young fashion designer at the European Fashion Passport 2022 will gain affirmation as a professional engagement at a prestigious European fashion house.

In order to participate in this Project, you will need to meet the criteria and the following deadlines:

• Application form​​ (all fields are required – digitally filled out or scan / file format: .pdf, .jpg or. png)

• A short written brief of the concept, idea or inspiration ​​(300 words max. / f. f.: .doc, .pdf)

• A mood board ​​(digital scan: 300 dpi ​at least​ A4 format / f. f. : .jpg, .png, .tiff or .pdf)

• 5 -10 sketches ​(digital scan: 300 dpi ​at least​ A4 format / f. f. : .jpg, .png, .tiff or .pdf) or photography

• Biography or CV ​(f. f.: .doc, .pdf)

• Designer’s profile photo or image photo

• Look book or runway images of previous collection when and where it was presented

There is no restriction regarding the theme, gender and season of the collection. However, it is important that the items are created from a new idea, since old collections will not be admitted.

You will also need to meet the criteria listed below:

• Work experience in a fashion industry for at least 3 years and/or completed fashion studies or being a student at a fashion College or Academy.
• Deadline for your application is the 30​ th of June!

Once the application is received, the professional international judging panel will make a selection based on the quality of work and ideas. The results will be announced ​on the 15​ th ​of July 2022 and selected designers will showcase their collections (5-10 pieces) ​in September 2022 at the European Fashion Passport in Sarajevo (BiH). 

All young fashion designers we choose to participate at the European Fashion Passport 2022 (30 + young fashion designers) will be provided with a totally free fashion show, two workshops, a collection of photographs at attractive locations in Sarajevo, a presentation of designers at the European platform and accommodation in Sarajevo.
